Backgrounds and progress

Hi everyone! It's been a long time since we wrote - we were drowned in development. But we come to you with good news!

So, the work is going on, and here is what we have at the moment:

1. The programmer has already implemented 70% of the text in the game

2. The artist has 5 backgrounds and 3 scenes left to draw (and that's not much compared to all the visuals on release).

3. The wiki is done, but slowly. Right now only the achievements section and the character section are done

4. We are still focused on October in terms of releasing the update

One of the most underrated parts of the game are the backgrounds. It so happens that during the dialog they have a blurring effect and you can enjoy them for a very little time. But rendering them takes sometimes even more time than sprites or full-fledged images.

We offer you to see what backgrounds will meet you in the next update. However, all of them are not finished yet.

It's a forest of seaweed. We find the color green quite intimidating and mysterious. And that's exactly the atmosphere we need in this place!

This is an unfinished view from the city side of the seaweed forest. It will be somewhere to the left in the distance.

Remember there's a tree on the map? That's it. But why and for what, you'll have to find out as the story progresses.

Vetra mentioned that the sunken city was called “the city of seven fortresses” and this is the remains of one of them. You will be able to see this place during one of the quests, when you have to swim outside the safe city.

Thank you for waiting for new content and believing in us! Good luck to everyone!

The background artwork is fantastic! Your artist is very skilled! What other work do they do?

Actually, it just so happens that one person draws all the backgrounds, and she also draws the items and finalizes and brings the sprites and full images (NSFW too) to a general visual consistency.

She  has great artistic talent and a great visual style. One of the first things I noticed about the game was that it looked professional, not amateur or goofy. Very impressive.
